Wall construction
The twin-shelled construction System ZS realises the acoustic ideal of a “room-within-a-room”.
Two booths - an inner shell and an outer one – stand one inside the other without touching, independent but stable. This complete decoupling of the walls of the two booths using a layer of insulation between them, along with a ceiling that is also double-layered, a dual sprung floor and a softly vibrating mounting for the whole booth, results in excellent insulating values.
This system is envisaged above all when a high level of sound protection is needed, for example for music practice booths, recording rooms and speakers’ booths in an environment with more interference.
The twin-shelled construction is also available as System ZSW with angled inner walls providing a high level of interior diffusivity.
