Electromagnetic shielding

The quality of a shield is given on a logarithmic scale in decibels (dB). An insulation value of, say, 20 dB means a reduction of external radiation energy by 99% to 1% of the original value inside the protected area.

The graph shows the reduction due to the shielding as measured for the woven copper material which we use.
